Two CubeSats will be deployed from “Kibo” on Thursday, Feb 3, 2022.

On February 3, 2022, the following two CubeSats will be deployed from the Japanese Experiment Module (JEM) "Kibo".

Light-1

A collaboration initiative of the UAE Space Agency (UAESA), Bahrain’s National Space Science Agency (NSSA), Khalifa University of Science and Technology, and New York University - Abu Dhabi (NYUAD).

GT-1

The first in a series of at least four 1U CubeSats to be developed by the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) annually.
The deployment event for those satellites by J-SSOD#20 will be broadcast via YouTube JAXA Channel.
