Japanese Experiment Module “Kibo”
The Japanese Experiment Module, known as “Kibo,” is Japan’s first manned facility in space. Performing experiments that can only be attempted in space, Kibo is providing humanity with results that lead to innovation and technological advancement.
International Space Station
This massive manned space facility was assembled 400 km above the surface of the earth. Orbiting the planet at a rate of once every 90 minutes, it performs experiments, conducts research, and provides observations on the earth and other astronomical objects.
Transfer Vehicle
This unmanned transfer vehicle was depended upon worldwide to provide supplies to the ISS. A new supply vehicle, HTV-X, is currently under development.
