The following CubeSat will be deployed from the “Kibo” Japanese Experiment Module as J-SSOD#37.

HOKUSHIN-1^*1

*1 Deployed under the framework of the J-CUBE program, in which a CubeSat deployment opportunity is established through an agreement between JAXA and the University Space Engineering Consortium (UNISEC).

The deployment event for the satellite will be broadcast via YouTube JAXA Channel.

【Mission】	This is a technology demonstration satellite aimed at future expansion of activities beyond the Moon. Experiments of key technologies essential for deep space exploration missions will be conducted in low Earth orbit (approximately 400 km altitude). It implements orbit determination (ranging) using university ground stations, a compact high-efficiency propulsion system, and deployable solar panels enabling high-power generation.
