This soup with wakame seaweed is packed in a pouch which has a special spout designed for preventing the liquid content from splashing under microgravity. Usual wakame easily gets stuck in the spout. To avoid this issue, wakame is shredded so that it easily runs through the spout. Wakame is rich in natural minerals and dietary fibers, and effective for supplying additional nutrition to astronauts staying long time in space.
