9. Area PADLES 9
: October 2012 Soyuz TMA-06M (32S) launch - March 2013 Soyuz TMA-06M (32S) return

The nineth Area PADLES dosimeter was launched onto the ISS by Soyuz TMA-06M (32S). A total of 17 Area PADLES dosimeters were installed, 12 in Pressurized Module (PM) and 5 in Experiment Logistics Module Pressurized Section (ELM-PS).

The newly installed nineth dosimeters measured the dose of radiation for 6 months. JAXA astronaut Akihiko Hoshide as an ISS Expedition 32/33 crew installed the Area PADLES 9 dosimeter in Kibo.

NASA astronaut Tom Marshburn as an ISS Expedition 34/35 crew uninstalled the Area PADLES 9 dosimeter in Kibo.
