: February 2011 STS-133 (ULF5) Launch - May 2011 Soyuz TMA-20 (25S) Return

The fifth Area PADLES dosimeter was launched onto the ISS by the STS-133 Space Shuttle Discovery. A total of 17 Area PADLES dosimeters were installed, 12 in Pressurized Module (PM) and 5 in Experiment Logistics Module-Pressurized Section (ELM-PS).

The fifth dosimeters that were newly installed and uninstalled measured the dose of about three months.

NASA astronaut Catherine Coleman as an ISS Expedition 27 crew installed the Area PADLES 5 dosimeter in Kibo.
