: June 2017 Dragon CRS-11 (SpX-11) launch - January 2018 Dragon CRS-13 (SpX-13) return
The 18th Area PADLES dosimeter was launched onto the ISS by Dragon CRS-11 (SpX-11). A total of 9 Area PADLES dosimeters were installed, 8 in Pressurized Module (PM) and 1 in Experiment Logistics Module Pressurized Section (ELM-PS).
The newly installed 18th dosimeters measured the dose of radiation for 6 months.
NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson as an ISS Expedition 50/51/52 crew installed the Area PADLES 18 dosimeter in Kibo.
