: March 2016 Soyuz TMA-20M (46S) launch - September 2016 Soyuz TMA-20M (46S) return

The 16th Area PADLES dosimeter was launched onto the ISS by Soyuz TMA-20M (46S). A total of 17 Area PADLES dosimeters were installed, 12 in Pressurized Module (PM) and 5 in Experiment Logistics Module Pressurized Section (ELM-PS).

The newly installed 16th dosimeters measured the dose of radiation for 6 months.

NASA astronaut Jeffrey Williams as an ISS Expedition 46/47 crew installed the Area PADLES 16 dosimeter in Kibo.
